Can a smart switch control something other than a light?
Yes. Each switch controls whatever is wired to it: lights, fans, exhaust fans, TV points, mirror lights and more. A geyser or other heavy load goes on the Single Switch 16A. You name each one in the meshams app so everyone at home knows which is which.
Does it work with Alexa and Google Assistant?
Yes. Alexa and Google Assistant can switch every key on the 6 Switch, 1 Fan, 1 Socket on and off by voice, alongside the meshams app and the panel itself. Fan speed is set on the panel or in the app.
Do I need a new switchboard?
No. The 6 Switch, 1 Fan, 1 Socket replaces the switch panel you have now, and a meshams technician installs it and sets it up with you.
